Cocktail Hour: Green Glass

Recipe: (obtained from Scrappy’s Bitters)

  • 2oz gin.
  • 1/2 oz. dry vermouth
  • 1/2 oz. St. Germain
  • Squeeze one lime wedge
  • 1-2 dashes celery bitters

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker mixed with ice and serve up with a lemon twist

History:  Last year I began experimenting with flavored bitters.  I found a wonderful 4 pack made by Scrappy’s Bitters.  The set came with aromatic (your basic bitter), lavender, celery and orange.  Plus they offer recipes for each one.  This was a stray away from the pre-1950s cocktails I normally make, but still lots of fun!
